This web site allows you to request a water tap
installation for new residential construction. Please select the city from the
box below and then enter the appropriate information.
IMPORTANT NOTE -- Please make sure that
the meter location is staked with a 2 by 4 that has the house address on it (if
the plumber's line has already been installed, then put the stake at the end of
that line and tape the line to it.) Failure to do so may result in a $150 fine
as well as substantial delay in installation. If you have any questions or for

Installation will happen within fifteen working days (weekends and city
holidays do not count as working days) beginning the day after System
Planning receives notice of the foundation release. Your due date is
not necessarily your installation date (your service will be installed no later
than the due date barring undue circumstances).
Building permits can be obtained on the 7th floor of City Hall in the
Office of Central Inspection. The office can be contacted at 268-4461.
