Beginning Sunday, Nov. 4, the Keeper of the Plains “Ring of Fire” will burn:
- Friday and Saturday nights at 7 PM and 8 PM.
- Sunday through Thursday nights at 7 PM.
The “Ring of Fire,” or firepots, will burn for 15 minutes.
The schedule change is due to the end of day-light saving time and return to standard time.
For added public safety, the firepots are manually turned on. All schedules are weather permitting or based on river levels. The firepots are not turned during high winds, rain or inclement weather.
The Keeper of the Plains Plaza and the surrounding area are closed to the public from midnight until 5 AM.
