"Jamaican Me Crazy," "Girl Power," "Cell Phone," "Frosty Mug of Beer." These are just a few names of new fireworks being sold at firework stands in the city.
Although these fireworks and others are on the Wichita Fire Department’s approved list, the department wants to remind citizens of firework danger and encourage them to check caution and performance labeling before purchasing fireworks.
The department also wants to remind parents that children gravitate to colorful packaging that may require mature handling. Never leave children unsupervised when shooting fireworks.
