MacDonald Golf Course is now open for play. This course was hit hard during the ice storm in January and the greens were too wet for play. It is now open along with the other four city courses that opened earlier.
As a reminder, the City of Wichita’s Golf Division is sending out "temporary memberships" in the water bills. As part of an effort to encourage season ticket sales to boost golf rounds, the City of Wichita will be sending a "temporary membership" for a trial basis to the citizens of Wichita. Simply bring the insert to any municipal course and play for only $4 on weekdays and $5 on weekends. This offer is good for one time use through
March 31, 2005. It is part of an effort to kick off the golf season, that typically begins in April with the Masters Tournament.
