The phone number for the BTK tip line has changed. The new number is (316) 268-4174 and will be manned from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Anyone who needs to report information outside those hours is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 267-2111. Information can also be e-mailed to coldcase@wichita.gov or mailed to Cold Case, P.O. Box 9202, Wichita, KS 67277-0202.
The Wichita Police Department continues to follow up on tips and leads received on the BTK case. Since the tip line was established, police have received more than 1400 phone tips and 800 tips have been sent to the e-mail address.
