The City of Wichita's Animal Shelter will participate in Pet Adoptathon 2003. Pet Adoptathon, the weekend when animal organizations worldwide join together to find a home for each and every shelter pet, is taking place May 3-4, with thousands of shelters in dozens of countries celebrating the event.
Representatives from the Animal Shelter will also be at Pet Smart East from 12-4 PM, both days with animals and to answer questions about pets. Balloons and candy will be passed out to children. During the adoptathon, $10.00 will be taken off all adoptions.
