MINUTES OF MEETING OF BOARD OF ELECTRICAL APPEALS February 13, 2007 - 3:00 p.m. OFFICE OF CENTRAL INSPECTION CITY HALL, 455 NORTH MAIN OCI CONFERENCE ROOM, 7th FLOOR Chairman Roy Meinhardt called the meeting to order at 3:01 pm, with Board members Dale Johnson, John Whittit, Harold Ragland, Dave Urban, Shane Chapman and Secretary Tom Kerschen present. Board member Jerry Addington was absent. Also present was Steve Schauner electrical inspector. The minutes of the January 9, 2007 meeting were read. Board member Ragland made a motion the minutes be approved as written, it was seconded by Board member Whittit and approved. The recent examination results from Thomson Prometric for electrical examinations administered by their office for City of Wichita approved applicants were presented to the Board. Wireman Approved Michael Miller 8652 Res. Wireman Approved There was no other business listed on the agenda but Secretary Kerschen gave the Board a copy of the State of Kansas House Bill 2251. This bill is to amend the requirements for continuing education for certified electrician, plumbers and HVAC technicians. Secretary Kerschen stated that he was going to a meeting in Johnson County to discuss this proposed amendment with jurisdictions around the State and other interested parties and would report the outcome of the meeting at the next Board meeting. With no other business to discuss Board member Whittit made a motion to adjourn. Board member Urban seconded the motion and the meeting adjourned. The time was 3:34 pm.
