MINUTES 
OF THE BOARD OF
APPEALS REFRIGERATION, AIR
CONDITIONING, WARM AIR HEATING.
Sept. 27, 2007
9:00 A.M.

Those Present: John Shepherd, Gary Highfill, Carl Hanna, Frank Rash, Ray Frederick, Randy Holm and Dan Leidy.

Also Present: Lonny Wright

Absent: David Hughes

Gary Highfill (Second Chair) chaired the meeting in the absence of David Hughes (Chairman)

Gary Highfill called the meeting to order.

Frank Rash made the motion to approve the August minutes. Second by Randy Holm. Motion carried.

The Board discussed testing of agencies of Thompson/Prometric and ICC (International Code Council) Dan Leidy handed out information concerning these two agencies. No action was taken. However, the members were encouraged to research information from Thompson/Prometric and ICC and report their findings at the next meeting.

The Board discussed C.E.U. requirements. Also discussed the classes put on at the 2007 EXPO. Dan Leidy had approved some classes to be recognized by the city of Wichita. Mr. Frederick said they didn't count because they had the wrong course numbers. There was much discussion and some arguing, and a little heated debate between members. An apology was made and accepted.. Board took no action at this time.

The Board also discussed what might be taking place at the State level this next legislative session. No Board action taken.
