MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF APPEALS
OF  AIR-CONDITIONING
WARM AIR HEATING AND BOILERS
  JUNE 30, 2005
9:00 A.M.


Those Present: Randy Holm, Ray Frederick, Frank Rash, Carl Hanna, David Hughes, Blaine Tharp and Dan Leidy.

Those Absent: Gary Highfill

The Board Members welcomed Randy Holm to the Board. Randy is replacing Bob Stith who's tenure was completed.

David Hughes made the motion to approve the May minutes. Seconded by Blaine Tharp. Motion carried.

The Board discussed the Roster Tech Cookers and approved them to be used in the City of Wichita providing they are installed according to the manufacturers specifications. Motion made by David Hughes and was seconded by Carl Hanna. Motion carried.

Old Business: 
Board also validated that those who took the alternative WSU exam in the past and passed the exam will be able to renew their current certificate provided they do not miss the grace period. If the grace period is missed, they will not get the certificate renewed and will have to set for a new exam.

Some of the board members stated that not everyone (Including OCI) was aware of the ICC examinations being available. Dan Leidy stated he would put it in Cinch and that when it came out everyone should be aware of it.
