Housing & Community Services: Neighborhood Improvement Services
The Housing and Community Services department offers a variety of tools for home improvements for those who are eligible for these programs based upon set requirements.

Office of Central Inspection: Neighborhood Inspection
The Neighborhood Inspection section is responsible for enforcement of the Housing Code (housing maintenance) for existing housing, and residential zoning code issues (i.e. parking violations, illegal home occupations, signs on right-of-way, etc.).

Parks and Recreation: Neighborhood Recreation Centers
Parks and Recreation's Neighborhood Recreation Centers are great sites for meeting places and also offer a variety of programming at the 10 centers throughout the city.

Planning: Advanced Plans Division
The Metropolitan Area Planning Department's Advanced Plans Division is involved in developing, implementing, and monitoring the Comprehensive Plan and related neighborhood planning initiatives.

Police: Community Affairs Division
The Community Affairs section assists in lowering the crime rate by educating the public on how to solve neighborhood problems.
