Who are the Wichita Ambassadors and how can they be contacted? Susan, Pam, Jennifer, and Melissa are the Wichita Ambassadors. The Ambassador program is an initiative of the City of Wichita to provide downtown parking enforcement, hospitality, tourism and public safety services to Wichitans and visitors. You can contact an Ambassador by calling 337-9200.

What days and hours are the parking meters enforced? The parking meters located on city streets and at City Hall are enforced from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Meters and restricted parking areas around Century II and the Library are enforced seven days a week until 11 PM with the exception of holidays.

I received a parking ticket but I was feeding the meter all day. Why did I get it? The answer is simple. It is against the law to feed the meter. According to City Code Ordinance 11.68.090 it is illegal to feed or plug a meter all day and stay parked at the meter longer than is legally allowed.
