What is TRIAD? THE TRIAD IS A PARTNERSHIP AND A PHILOSOPHY TO EMPOWER SENIORS.     The TRIAD consists of a partnership that involves: ¨      Senior Citizens ¨      Law Enforcement (Sheriffs/Police/District Attorney) ¨      Support/Protective Service(Councils on Aging/Clergy/Nurses/     Bankers, Etc.)     The TRIAD’s primary goal will be to reduce the criminal victimization of older citizens and to enhance the delivery of services to this population.   The TRIAD will be guided by the Adult Abuse Prevention Council and will be tailored to meet the needs of the senior community.   WHAT CAN  TRIAD DO?   The TRIAD partnership, will give senior residents the special recognition due them. It  recognizes the special needs and concerns of the older segment of our population and strives to enhance the quality of life of our seniors.   The TRIAD concept supposes that no one can do anything alone, it must be a collaborative effort built on community partnerships.   The most important duty of the TRIAD COUNCIL is to form committees that address specific issues of abuse facing seniors. These committees will meet as needed and report back their progress or results to the council.
