"Safety Sal"

"Safety Sal" was a sign designed by Elmer Million to increase awareness of school zone crossings.  Officer Million personally took a desk model (like the one below) to the White House for President Harry S. Truman.  "Safety Sal" was designed with the sign at the bottom to be more stable in the Kansas Winds.
