Hello, I'm Officer Robert L. Lacy Jr. I have been a member of the Wichita Police Department for the past 17 years. I have worked patrol in all four bureau’s, community policing, and DUI enforcement (Motors); I’ve been the SRO at both Coleman Middle School and Jardine Middle Magnet.
I'm excited about becoming the SRO at Wichita South High School.
My goal as the SRO at South High is to assist in the education process, by way of mentoring, with the students and building a partnership with the staff and school officials to teach our students to become responsible and productive citizens in our community.
Wichita South High is located at 701 W. 33rd St. South and has approximately 1700 students from throughout the City of Wichita.
