About Barry Sanders
A graduate of North High School, Barry Sanders played college football at Oklahoma State. Winning the Heisman Trophy in 1988, he decided to forego his senior season at OSU and sign up with the Detroit Lions. He was a valued member of the Detroit Lions from 1989-1998. He retired from professional football in 1999 and was inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2004.
