Good Neighbor Nutrition Program
The Red Cross offers the Good Neighbor Nutrition Program (lunch) weekdays. You must call Red Cross at (316) 219-4020 for a reservation.
Open Gym Afternoons
Monday-Friday in the afternoons from 1 - 5 PM. Call for availability.
Open Gym - High School and Older
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 5:30 - 8 PM. They play pick up games full court.
Open Gym Weekends
Starting in March the gym will be open on Saturdays 10 AM - 2 PM and Sundays from 1 to 5 PM.
Walking Time
Monday-Friday from 9:30 AM - NOON. Come join us and earn prizes!
McAdams Golden Age Club
Seniors 55 and older can join the McAdams Golden Age Club. They meet on Tuesdays at 12:30 PM.
Rooms may be rented in the Recreation Center on the weekends, and weekdays as available, for birthday parties, receptions, basketball/volleyball or other private functions when there are no scheduled activities. Rooms are available between the hours of 8 AM-10 PM Saturdays and Sundays. Room rates range from $16.25-$60 per hour. (4 hour minimum)
Book as far in advance as possible to ensure getting the date of your choice. No alcohol or smoking is allowed in any park facility.
Gym (athletic event)
For athletic uses or functions that do not include food and have minimal table/chair setup. Rental fee is $80 for 4 hours. Damage deposit is $60.
Gym (banquets/with kitchen)
For large banquets of over 80 people. Maximum seating supplied by McAdams Center is 250 people. Rental fee is $300 for 5 hours. Damage deposit is $100.
Clubroom (banquets/with kitchen/meetings)
Small meeting room. Maximum capacity is 88 people. Rental fee is $100 for 4 hours. Damage deposit is $60.
Park Villa Enclosed Shelter
1105 W. 10th Street
Stone building with a wide porch and one large room (800 sq. ft.) that can be divided into two rooms by use of a folding partition. Rental fee is $105 for 4 hours. $26.25 each additional hour. Damage deposit is $60.
