Grade School Fun Night
Children in grades K-5 can enjoy organized gym games, special events, contests, prizes, crafts or movies. Held every Friday during the school year from 6:30-8:30 PM. No charge.

Teen Night
Teens in middle school and high school can enjoy supervised pickup games of basketball. Held all year long on Mondays from 6-9 PM. No charge.

Basketball Skills Clinic for K-2nd Grades
Two separate workshops will be held and spaces in each are limited to the first 25 people. Sign up for either Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday from 5-6 PM. The workshop begins March 13th and ends the week of April 13th.

Participants will learn basic ball handling and shooting skills through fun group and individual skills. Modified scrimmages will be held at the completion of the workshop. Program emphasis will be on having fun instead of competition. Call 688-9392 to register or for more information.

In-Service Camps
This is a supervised day camp for children ages 6-12 to be held during the district-wide in-service days (for the Wichita Public School system) and during the Holiday Break from school. The fee is $12 per day/per person and you sign up for the days you wish to attend. Bring your lunch and beverage, but a morning and afternoon snack is provided. Spring dates offered are March 17, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and April 14 & 17.

Program hours are 7:00 am - 6:00 pm and activities will include organized gym games, table games, pool, air hockey, foosball, crafts, movies and contests. Enrollment is limited to 30 children on a first-come basis. Special licensing paperwork is required so register directly at Edgemoor.

Rooms may be rented in the Recreation Center on the weekends for birthday parties, receptions, basketball/volleyball or other private functions when there are no scheduled activities. Rooms are available between the hours of 8 AM and 10 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Room rates range from $16.25-$60 per hour (four hour minimum required).

Book as far in advance as possible to ensure getting the date of your choice. No alcohol or smoking is allowed in any park facility.
