Dear Managers:
Once again, the Wichita Park Department will be offering an Adult Church Slow Pitch Softball League for the 2009 Summer Season. We will offer 2 Men’s Leagues and 1 Coed League. Each league will consist of nine (9) teams playing a 16 game schedule and the entry fee per team is $455.00.
The league will play under USSSA rules. Men’s & Coed men’s league will use the Elite or Classic M (blue stitch) ball and the coed women may use the .47 core 11” balls. Men will use the 12” ball; women will use the 11” ball.
Coed A League will play Double-Headers on Mondays’ at the West Side Athletic Field ball diamonds. Men’s A and B Leagues or a combination of both will play at the West Side Athletic Field ball diamonds. All games will begin at 6:30 pm.
The Organizational Meeting for all team managers will be held on Saturday, April 18th at the Orchard Recreation Center, 4808 W. 9th at 10:00 am.
Registration can be done in person at the Parks and Recreation office located at City Hall, 455 N Main, 11th Floor or over the phone with a Visa or MasterCard Credit Card (No debit cards can be accepted).
