The City of Wichita's home repair programs are presented under the heading of the "Heart of Wichita". That is because these programs provide financial assistance for home repair for property owners who have made Wichita their home -- where the 'heart is'. Following is a list of programs which are designed to assist eligible property owners, make improvements to their property and enhance the livability of their neighborhoods. Program options rage from direct grants to low-interest home improvement loans, and most are available in specific areas. (View the Neighborhood Revitalization Areas for boundaries). The Emergency Home Repair Program is available city-wide.
